NewscowBGMI's Kiaraa content goes live on October 8, 2026, as part of the version 4.6 content cycle. KRAFTON India says Kiaraa is an original character created by its in-house Indian art team, with her own Erangel location, festive Bazaar, boss encounter and themed collection. The wider BGMI 4.6 update released earlier on September 16, so players should not confuse the patch date with Kiaraa's actual launch.
BGMI Kiaraa release date and event timeline
- BGMI 4.6 update: September 16, 2026
- Kiaraa launch: October 8, 2026
- India-specific Prize Path: October 22 to November 15, 2026
- Prize Path: 20 festive reward stages
KRAFTON India's official LinkedIn announcement says Kiaraa will be live from October 8 and describes her as the first original in-game character IP created entirely by its India art team specifically for BGMI players.
What changes on Erangel?
Kiaraa's arrival adds an India-themed festive Bazaar on Erangel rather than only introducing a cosmetic skin. Coverage of the 4.6 rollout says the Bazaar is tied to Kiaraa's story and a dedicated boss encounter, giving players a new location and challenge to explore when the October 8 content becomes active.
How the Kiaraa boss fight works
The boss encounter is linked to the Bazaar area. Players can activate the encounter around the courtyard and fight Kiaraa as part of the event challenge. The exact live-game flow can still change when the event opens, so players should follow the in-game prompts after October 8.
Kiaraa Nakshatra rewards
The Kiaraa-themed collection includes festive cosmetics and gameplay items. Reported rewards include the Kiaraa Nakshatra Set, Divine Peacock Glider, Divine Radiance SCAR-L, Divine Chariot Buggy, Arrow Rain Emote and Divine Edge Machete.
What is the India-specific Prize Path?
BGMI's first India-specific Prize Path is scheduled to run from October 22 to November 15. The event has 20 stages and is designed around the festive-season theme, giving players a separate progression track after Kiaraa's October 8 launch.
What players should do before October 8
- Make sure BGMI is updated to version 4.6.
- Check for additional in-game resource downloads when Kiaraa goes live.
- Look for the festive Bazaar on Erangel after the October 8 activation.
- Keep the October 22 Prize Path date separate from Kiaraa's October 8 character launch.
