Newscow's correction process is intended to fix errors clearly and preserve readers' understanding of what changed.
Report an error
Email nroul09@gmail.com with “Correction” in the subject line. Include the article URL, the specific statement or image at issue, what you believe is correct and a reliable supporting source. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
How we review reports
We check the report against the article and available sources. If we need more information, we may ask for clarification. Disagreement with an attributed opinion is considered as feedback; a factual error requires a correction. Response and review times depend on the issue and the evidence available.
Material corrections
When a confirmed error changes the meaning of a story, the corrected article should include a visible note describing the error, the corrected information and the correction date. Headlines, descriptions, captions and source links should also be updated when affected. The existing article URL should normally be retained.
If a story cannot be supported and must be withdrawn, readers should receive an explanation appropriate to the issue rather than a silent rewrite that conceals the problem.
Updates and small edits
A developing story may gain new confirmed information after publication. Those additions should be identified as updates where relevant. Typographical, formatting or minor wording edits that do not change the meaning may be made without a correction note.
Our Editorial Policy sets the broader standards for sourcing, accuracy and fair coverage.
