vivo's official India launch announcement lists Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black colours. Launch offers vary by channel and have separate eligibility and validity conditions, so check the retailer's live terms before treating a discount as part of the phone's effective price.
What you get for the money
The V80 uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with refresh rates up to 144Hz in supported apps. vivo lists a 7,200mAh typical-capacity battery, 90W FlashCharge, IP68/IP69 resistance, OriginOS 7 and six years of security updates.
The camera package includes a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera using Sony's IMX882 sensor, OIS and 3x optical zoom. vivo also advertises 4K 60fps recording and creator-focused LUT and AI tools.
Three details worth checking before buying
1. The 7,200mAh number is typical capacity. vivo's own footnote gives a 7,015mAh rated capacity. That does not make the 7,200mAh claim false; it explains what the marketing figure represents.
2. 144Hz is not guaranteed in every app. vivo says the maximum refresh rate is supported only by selected applications, so buyers should not assume every game or screen will run at 144Hz.
3. Some AI features have conditions. vivo says AI results can vary, and its AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 feature is listed for a limited period from October 10 to November 20, 2026. Treat individual AI features as software services whose availability can have model, region, language or time limits.
What about charging and durability?
The phone supports up to 90W charging with vivo's standard charger, but the company notes that actual charging performance varies with electricity output and other conditions. IP68/IP69 ratings are based on controlled laboratory testing; they should not be read as a promise that every real-world water-damage situation is covered.
Launch offers need a second look
vivo lists bank cashback/discount, exchange and EMI offers, but these are conditional. The announced JioHotstar discount is especially easy to misread: vivo says the offer is not live yet, is expected in coming days, has no guaranteed launch date, and is limited to eligible non-subscribers.
